About Me

I am an outdoorsy soul, happiest in surrounded by tall trees with a camera in hand and notebook in my pocket. I love the thrill of a new adventure - long hikes, portages, road trips, camping, and any travel. I’ve done 8 road trips across Canada (right up to the Yukon and North West Territories) and in 2021, I went abroad to teach in over 15 different countries. My favorite sports are ice-hockey and rock-climbing and Brazilian jiujitsu.

As much I love adventure, I also love really quieter moment - reading, crafting, watching murder mysteries, and having cosy edit nights by the fire with Meatball (my adorable and now geriatric beagle) and my husband, Gerry (who is also cute and old).
